Quebec Food Production Workers Pilot Program open to Applications

This new Quebec Food Production Workers Pilot immigration application was available for software on March 2-4, 2021. The application window for 2021 is between March 24 and October 31, 2021. The program provides a pathway to permanent residence in Quebec for temporary overseas employees in-eligible jobs while within the food manufacturing industry.

Quebec’s Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration (MIFI) intends to select 550 applicants each year throughout the pilot application. It’ll close on January 20-26.

On March 3, 2021, Quebec unmasked information on three brands’ new Quebec immigration programs, which were introduced in May and July 20, 20 to entice orderlies, food manufacturing employees, and experts in artificial intelligence, information technology, and visual outcomes. Each pilot application may continue for five decades and aim up to 550 applicants each year and their household. 

Following Quebec’s legislation ministry, those brand-new Quebec immigration programs boost economic recovery by allowing immigrants to “fully lead to Quebec society’s growth by opting to be in there and work at those spheres of activity.

Qualification for Quebec Food Production Workers Pilot

This app is available from March 24 to October 3 1, 2021, and can be for people searching for work in beverage or food production in Quebec. This pilot program enables you to be in Québec indefinitely if you’re a temporary overseas employee while within the food processing industry. It’s meant to help Quebec organizations retain their foreign labor pool and stay competitive with other Canadian provinces.

Eligible jobs comprise this National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes and descriptions:

6732 — Specialized cleansers

8431 — General farm employees

9461 — Process control and machine operators, food and drink processing

9462 — Industrial butchers and meat cutters, poultry preparers, and related employees

9463 — Fish and fish plant employees

9617 – Laboure’s in food and drink processing

9618 — Laboure’s in fish and fish processing

This pilot application requires that applicants:

I have gathered at least a couple of decades of knowledge in the food or drink manufacturing market in the previous few years.

Currently, work full-time in both of the industries in Quebec.

Possess a degree 7 proficiency in French measured by the Echelle Québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français des personnes immigrants’ adults.

I have consumed a minimum of a high school degree (DES) or degree of postsecondary studies (DEP).
